Summer: From December to March - It is the warm season. The temperature ranges from 10ºC to 28ºC (50ºF - 83ºF). The climate is ideal for enjoying the lakes and beaches by fishing, sailing, swimming or just taking gentle sun baths. Outdoors activities such as trekking, mountain climbing, hunting, horse riding, deer and bird watching, mountain bike, kayaking and rafting are musts!
Autumn: From March to June - The weather is warm and calm and the vegetation displays spectacular shades of red, brown and yellow. The temperature ranges from 8ºC to 20ºC (46ºF - 68ºF). This is a very nice time to walk along the sand beaches and wander around the woods enjoying the gorgeous colorful landscape!
Winter: From July to September - The weather is cold and humid. The temperature ranges from -10ºC to 14ºC (14ºF - 57ºF). Both downtown and at the mountain areas, we all wait anxiously for the snow to cover the whole village with its beautiful white veil which allows skiing and snowboarding at the snow park in Cerro Bayo. We recommend doing all sorts of outdoors activities in our unspoilt, natural environment with such stunning sightings that will leave you in awe!
Spring: From September to December - The climate is very pleasant and we are the privileged guests to nature´s most colorful feast, as thousands of flowers are in full bloom, being the retamas and the lupinos the most typical varieties. The temperature ranges from 10ºC to 22ºC (50ºF - 71ºF) and the wind gently blows mainly from the West and North-West direction becoming a fresh gentle breeze.

Every winter, Villa LA Angostura becomes the center of snow and leisure. Skiing and snowboarding at Cerro Bayo is a real pleasure. The ski center base is only 9 km from El Cruce (downtown). Transportation up the mountain, where the snow park is placed, can take 4500 people per hour. It is open all year long and it provides with a wide range of services at1050 metres over sea level. At Cerro bayo, you´ll find 20 km of ski trails with proper signs and banner to indicate directons, 200 hectares of unspoilt snow for skilled skiers and deep snow for snowboard lovers. Visitors at Cerro Bayo will be able to appreciate the view and admire the beauty of the surrounding mountains and the Nahuel Huapi Lake while they enjoy the excellent snow park which fulfils the most demanding skiers and snowboarderds standards.
